Arbutus unedo ‘Oktoberfest’
strawberry tree

Adaptable, long lived evergreen shrub or small tree native to southern Europe. Forms a wide branching shrub with reddish-brown shredding bark and neat dark green leaves. The cultivar ‘Oktoberfest’ grows 6 - 8 ft. tall and wide and sports deep pink urn-shaped flowers in drooping clusters. Showy orange-red round “strawberry” fruits decorate the branches in fall and winter. Plant in full sun to part shade with moderate to occasional summer water.
