variegated Tatarian dogwood
Striking in all seasons. Foliage is a soft cool gray-green, margined in white. Compliments other greens well and provides a cool appearance to the summer garden. Flowers which appear in April to May are small flat clusters of white. The vibrant dark red-purple stems add a wonderful structure and color to the winter garden. About 5 ft. tall. Grow in light shade with regular water. Cut to the ground in late winter every 3 years or so for renewal.
